River Park Construction Starting Soon
Site work at River Park will commence on the Crafts Avenue Extension in early April, pending final approval from the City of Lebanon Planning Department and Public Works. The first stage will be extending the Water and Sewer lines from the end of Crafts Avenue (where they currently end at the River Park boundary) into the site, followed by the Roadway improvements to the Crafts Avenue Extension cul-de-sac.
Valley News Editorial: Details must be worked out, but the proposed Connecticut River park would be a real community asset
“The Connecticut River is a jewel that remains largely hidden from public view and access in much of the Upper Valley. The opportunity to display this ornament in perpetuity, with access to all, is exceedingly rare and should not be squandered, even as the city pursues the cleanup of the old Westboro rail yard nearby with an eye to providing public access to the Connecticut. Parks along the river connected by walking trails would be a magnificent addition to the area’s quality of life.”
Lebanon Planning Board Approves Improved River Park Phasing Plan
On Monday, September 9th, the Lebanon Planning Board approved our proposed amendment to the phasing of the River Park Sub Division and Site Plan. This amendment will allow the multi-family residential portion of our site plan to be accelerated from Phase 7 to Phase 1-A, allowing the housing to be built concurrent with Phase 1 (100 River Park).
