How River Park fits in the West Lebanon Visioning Charrette
I participated in all three sessions of the West Lebanon Visioning Charrette this past weekend sponsored by the Lebanon Office of Planning. It was gratifying to observe that the objectives of the West Lebanon community remain consistent with those Lyme solicited in our neighborhood planning process in 2008.

River Park has been designed to provide public access to the Connecticut River and to help connect important pedestrian and bicycle trails in the immediate area.
With the offsite infrastructure improvements completed on Crafts Avenue in 2019, Lyme is now mobilizing our development team to start construction of 100 River Park, the first new building, in the spring of 2020. This first phase will provide a new entry to River Park on Route 10 and new sidewalk connections to downtown West Lebanon and The Falls.
All of River Park will be pedestrian friendly and all utilities will be installed underground to avoid overhead wires and telephone poles that mar the visual landscape. Even during construction, we will continue to provide neighborhood access to the walk paths that lead to the Connecticut River. I invite you to take a walk through River Park down to the river to see for yourself the potential for this important piece of open space.
