Several people have asked about voter registration and absentee ballots. Here is the information from the City Clerk.
Lebanon residents may register to vote at the City Clerk’s office in City Hall during normal business hours between now and Friday, February 26th. Residents may also register to vote at the polling place on the day of the election, March 9th. To register, you must prove your identity, age and residency (usually accomplished by presenting either a driver's license or birth certificate or passport and a utility bill).
Absentee ballots will be available on February 24, 2010. Absentee ballots may be requested from the City Clerk’s office by appearing in person, calling, or sending a written request including the voter’s full name, residential address, mailing address for the ballot to be sent to, the date of the election, and your signature. Written requests may be mailed, faxed or emailed to the Clerk’s office.
