Appeal of Administrative Decision that blocked pop-up coffeeshop, jeopardized Hootenanny, threatens trail access, and cost us a tenant.
The decision to require Minor Site Plan review for a pop-up coffeeshop in the Diner, and subsequent communications from the Planning Staff, jeopardized the Hootenanny and we lost a really great local business looking to come to West Leb.
In preparation for our Appeal before the Lebanon Planning Board on July 10th we have reviewed the Staff Memo PB2023-23-AAD which states that River Park is in violation of Site Plan approval for improvements made to the property since April, 2021.
We disagree.
The advice of our legal counsel is that we should close down access to the trails until the issue is resolved.
We’re not going to do that.
Instead, we are appealing the decision to the Lebanon Planning Board as we seek a more productive path forward that isn’t burdened by unnecessary and erroneous hoops to jump through
